Getting Started at the Lab for Multimodal Neuroimaging
Welcome to the LMN! You are new at the lab and want to get started with your bachelor, master or phd thesis? Or are just wanting to get a glimbs on the lab with a six-weeks internship? Then you are at the right spot. Here you'll find a detailed description on how to get started in the lab and many more interesting information that might help you to orientate yourself within the lab.
Location and Rooms¶
The LMN is located at the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of Marburg. Its rooms are on the first floor, close to the fMRI scanner that is often used by the team. In order to access the rooms a key is needed. How to apply for such key, you can read here.
Computers and Software¶
One of the first things you should do, is to get access to the clinic server. It allows you to work with the data and on the computers in the lab. It is important that you keep the (imaging) data on the server and do not copy them to your own device. These are sensitive data, thus they should always be highly protected. If you want to work at home however, you can also access the server via a remotedesktop tool. This way you do not have to present all the time.
