Brain Research¶
With this "Brain Research" platform we want to create the possibility to collect and make available information that are important to us.
We are a group of scientists working in neuroscience and related fields. We think it is important to collect information in the long term and make them freely available to colleagues ("Open Science"). The participating research groups are mainly based at the University of Marburg. Under the section research-groups group specific information are shared. Under all other sections more general information on brain research are provided.
Status: This site is never up to date nor will it ever be complete.

Current Project: Video Tutorials for Planning Neuroimaging Experiments¶
We are currently developing a series of short video tutorials that document key experimental procedures at the MR scanner and provide practical explanations of the technical equipment used in neuroimaging studies.
The goal of this project is to make the planning and preparation of neuroimaging experiments more accessible—especially for early-career researchers. Each video is accompanied by structured, step-by-step written guides, based on real-world research scenarios.
By combining visual demonstrations with clear documentation, we aim to standardize recurring processes, reduce technical barriers, and create a low-threshold entry point into neuroimaging research.
